Reflective review of the Introduction to Epistemologies of the South

Abstract

Reviewing a work ... is not an easy task, however, it is part of the responsibilities in the conformation of critical, analytical and discursive thoughts that any researcher in educational sciences assumes, therefore, the fascinating challenge is assumed by reviewing the writing of Boaventura De Sousa Santos (2009; 2012) and his Introduction: The Epistemologies of the South, taking into account that he is a contemporary thinker with merely Latin American aims and purposes, with a deeply rooted and possessed concept of the South as his own and appreciated interest.
