PREP Hidalgo case study

Abstract

The State Electoral Institute of the State of Hidalgo (IEEH) granted through direct award to the company "Megaweb, Software Design, Maintenance, Sale and Rental of Computing Equipment, Consumables and Office Equipment S.A. de C.V.", the development of the System of the Preliminary Electoral Results Program (PREP), for $7,457,800.00. The contracting procedure did not comply with the provisions of the Law on Acquisitions, Leases and Services of the Public Sector of the State of Hidalgo, since it was granted by exception, making it possible to carry out a public tender.
