Social movements and the Praxis of Liberation in Colombia

Abstract

Before entering into this approximation of the categories of social movements and liberation praxis, it is necessary to clarify that this intervention will not be for any reason a kind of "historiography" of social movements, but rather a sober theoretical-practical approach. to what can be understood by social movements based on the postulations of the Latin American philosopher Enrique Dussel, who is not limited to mere conceptual speculation but tries to identify some keys to liberating actions - or liberation praxis as he calls it - that allow the understanding of the people, as a philosophical-political category, that is, as a political actor.
