Of writings, social realism and revolutionary creation: Silvestre the musician and the poet

Abstract

The following essay is a research work that should be prepared as an evaluation of a chair about the historical process of the Mexican revolution, it will be somewhat strange then that my modest writing is developed about a musician who had little to do with the armed event, revolutionary political or military. One of the most clearly sought aspirations in this cultural historical reflection is to demonstrate how the macro-structural events, in this case, the Mexican revolution, the October revolution and the Spanish civil war, with all its consequences, directly affect people. of flesh and blood that live and develop in the context of their society.
