A decolonial look at the novel The weaver of Crowns by Germán Espinosa

Abstract

The purpose of the following article is to express certain crucial aspects that marked the boom of the historical narrative that becomes significant in the work La Tejedora de Coronas by Germán Espinosa. Trying to capture a series of elements that participate in the identification of the multiplicity of identities which intertwine in a fundamental time for Latin American literature: the time of "colonial history." Seeking to relate it to the notions from decolonial thinking from a critical perspective, using documentary analysis as a criterion for approaching and developing the article; leading to formulate some conclusions that are related to decolonial theories and the novel the crown weaver.
