Constitutional reforms: causes and consequences
Abstract
We are just four years away from celebrating the centenary of the promulgation of the Constitution of 1917. However, due to the 554 reforms (Chamber of Deputies, 2013) that had been made until February of this year, the text that now governs us It preserves little or nothing of the original published in the Official Gazette of the Federation that February 5, 96 years ago. Although it is true that social change requires the law to evolve, it is also true that reforming the Constitution on any subject without knowledge of it is as much or more damaging than not modifying it.
