Transformation of paradigms in scientific revolution. Thomas Kuhn Perspective
Abstract
This purely reflective essay deals with analyzing the transformation of paradigms into scientific revolution from the perspective of Thomas Kuhn in his famous work “The Structure of Scientific Revolutions” (2004). Reading this author necessarily implies meditation and re-reading of his writing since capturing his ideas and understanding all their scope without adequate critical deliberation would be insufficient to arrive at a vision of meritorious scope. A qualitative approach has been applied with a document review strategy, where the results are presented by collecting visions from various authors who review the topics worked on by Kuhn: the enigma; the appearance of the new paradigm; the establishment of knowledge as a normal science; the emergence of the scientific anomaly; the arrival of the crisis and the questions; the presence of resistance and speculation that gives way to assimilation and acceptance; For finally, through all these moments, the Scientific Revolution takes place, that is, the new theory, the scientific community agrees with the conceptual and above all factual factors for the birth of a new Paradigm. Lastly, Kuhn's reference to the transition from the notion of Paradigm to that of Disciplinary Matrix.
