Social integration as part of the decolonization of thought in the face of social inclusion that responds to the modern liberal paradigm

Abstract

Within this paradigm that from below, the invisible emerge to break this positivist hegemony, the paradigm of social integration that tries to mark the north of that decolonization process in the thought that exists in Venezuelan education where the segregation of people with disability remains unscathed. According to the fact that there is a need for the process of decolonization of thought, this issue is placed within the academic-political table, to generate a broad discussion about these two paradigms that are confronted daily in daily life, within people with disabilities facing to "normality" and "abnormality", emerged within the modern liberal system, and hence the research to try to unveil these corresponding categories from symbolic violence, which hides in the coloniality of power in the classrooms and even more from the perspective of the social sciences.
