Violence, dispossession and famine. The case of Buenaventura, Colombia
Abstract
The purpose of the following article is to understand the socio-political dynamics experienced by the black communities of the Colombian Pacific. In particular those located in the port region of Buenaventura - Colombia. Since in daily life there are phenomena associated with violence in multiple dimensions, the territorial, maritime and river dispossession of fishing boats and the famine of public, natural and human “resources”. Likewise, understand the processes of resistance, social struggles, alternative political proposals, practices and discourses that focus on establishing conditions in defense of the territory.
