Abstract

To speak of education in contrast to the socio-economic conditions of families is to speak of a panorama of educational abstentionism, and at the same time it is to speak of the conditions that make it impossible for education to happen, where it is most needed, but it is also to speak of having into account within these factors, elements beyond the economic, and that occur within this series of existing conditions, for example, if we look back decades, we could observe a clear history of lower enrollment, such as lower degree of studies especially in the female sector, then, it is time to question whether marginal economic conditions are the main culprits, or does it really lie in decision-making at the family level?
