Abstract

The presidential contest comes back to the homes of Mexicans, surprisingly the current president seems to be able to end the six-year term, the return to power of the most controversial party, although the others are not far behind. And, despite the fact that apparently one minute lasts longer than five, the relay is nowhere from sitting in the presidential chair. From strong events such as the specific loss of forty-three human beings, to saying "he has returned" they went around the world, apparently the only thing that got the current president to continue in the National Palace was his "great eloquence." The bets are already made and each party has already negotiated who will run, a young adult with “Madero” blood, who has been involved in the political arena for a long time, a woman who relies on her husband's career and trajectory , and, not to miss the already tradition, a gentleman from Tabasco who boasts of coming and being "for the people." Actually, those are the profiles of the candidates of each election, always with the same tendency, to seek power, but how many of them really know the price of a kilo of tortillas? A cultural element that lies in the pre-Hispanic foundations of the nation, that is, a gastronomic “pillar” in Mexican culture; But to understand how the simple fact of knowing the price of this food must be known to the president, it is necessary to establish the definition of culture.
