Abstract

Intercultural relationships are inevitable; However, the ways in which they occur can sometimes fall into relations of subordination of one culture by another, the task of human rights is to regulate such relations so that there are no subjugations of cultures due to a supposed superiority, in this case the doctrine of multiculturalism says that there is no culture that is superior to another. Through the analysis of the intercultural relations that have occurred in Latin America, it is intended to highlight the situation of colonization, subordination and domination exercised by the cultural groups that have assumed cultural hegemonic power in the different stages of succession in Latin American States.
