The oligarchy of the Mexican State

Abstract

Based on the results, we can then conclude that the Mexican State has a broad-based Oligarchy (Elizondo, 2012). In the search for databases, we could verify that although for a long period of time the political party of the presidents and governors of the State of Mexico was the same (PRI) or corresponded to the same power group, that did not ensure that had belonged or belonged to the Atlacomulco Power Group (Contreras, 2013) or to the Televisa group. However, we were able to verify that Mexico is in an oligarchy since even the presidents who belonged to the PAN, Vicente Fox (2000-2006) and Felipe Calderón (2006-2012), belonged to the Televisa group, leaving the Mexican government in the hands of the elites.
