Abstract

The conquest has been a difficult historical episode to study. Fierce debates continue about this episode. Ideological confrontations that are also taking a position. With the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Conquest of Mexico, the debates are updated, new studies and new concerns arise on the subject.
