Abstract

Talk of Electronic Government began at the end of the 20th century (Soares and Amaral, 2015), when the Internet, the World Wide Web, and the development of computer networks created new opportunities for the development of applications and systems in government, such as a phenomenon parallel to Electronic Commerce. Authors such as Gil García and Luna-Reyes (2006), Naser and Concha (2011) later Soares and Amaral (2015), contributed to the clarification and understanding of the concept of Electronic Government, pointing out that it can be defined or studied in three main ways: 1) for their approaches 2) through its components and 3) by its dimensions.
