Benefits of studying literature in legal training
Abstract
The contribution of legal-literary studies on the lawyer's academic training is determined taking as starting point the theoretical proposals of the law and literature movement. The main aspects of the law and literature connection are analyzed emphasizing the primary utility of reviewing literary works along jurist's education. The results show the fundamental role of legal-literary studies on lawyer´s training, by encouraging the development of both empathic and reflexive abilities and linguistic skills in legal issues.
