Attack on the twin towers on 9/11. Historical event that built or destroyed?
Abstract
The events that have marked a before and after in history are counted. September 11, 2001 (9/11) was undoubtedly one of them. It started as an ordinary day and ended as the worst tragedy of the 21st century that led to changes in international relations, but, above all, it created an identity of Western unity. The intention of this work is to analyze what happened from the theory of constructivism, and not limit the reader to stay with only the official version. This theory provides tools that allow us to understand in a better and much more complete way, the pervasive effects that the event left in its wake, in short, it explains why 9/11 built more than destroy. We will talk about how an event could shape the international system almost instantaneously, explaining it as a mutually constituted relationship between the agent and the structure.
