Between puddles and solutions: a multidimensional challenge

The municipality of Santa Cruz Atizapán located in the State of Mexico has faced flooding, particularly in the central area, where rains generate accumulations of water that affect both the mobility and safety of residents. This essay is divided into five sections, first the current situation of flooding is addressed, where the background of the problem and the implementation of the paving program and drainage modernization are described. Then the theoretical framework is presented in relation to governance, the incremental approach and the evaluation of public policies to understand the context in which the problem is marked.Downloads
