Abstract

In this article we propose to analyze the text of the sentence to Túpac Amaru. To this end, we will explore the theoretical perspectives: the coloniality of power by Aníbal Quijano (2000) and the theory of relevance by Sperber and Wilson; to demonstrate the thesis that Areche's judicial text constitutes one of the most ostensible statements of coloniality in American history; asimismo we will check the linguistic ways in which the previous one is expressed. In short, it is a question of analyzing what is contained in coloniality that is present in the fall and giving attention to the ways of its textual manifestation.
