Is intersectionality pragmatically viable? Thinking about intersectionality from its criticisms
Abstract
Intersectionality is a phenomenon that, in recent years, has proliferated in different academic fields under different modalities. Sometimes as an approach, sometimes as a methodology, it has been consolidated in such a way that it can be affirmed without a doubt that it is hegemonic in many areas. However, there are many complex epistemological aspects that need to be reviewed, so that their use is not limited to simply applying a model without the corresponding theoretical reflection. In this article we review some of those aspects to take into account.
