Comparative study on the participation of Mujer Semilla and Gráfica X Morritas in the street art of Mexico
Abstract
The article makes a comparative study on the female street art movement in Mexico by analyzing the graphic scenes of the cities of Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosí, specifically through the practices of the groups: Mujer Semilla and Gráfica X Morritas. The reflection begins with the explanation of the theoretical elements that make possible the elaboration of comparisons in the scientific fields that go from political science to anthropology. The latter allowed to focus on the comparison of the micro realities of the street community groups, linking them to local processes that served to understand the actions and positions of the groups. Likewise, it allowed the establishment of the dependent and independent variables, which served to find similarities and differences. It was concluded that the actions of the collectives are subject to the social contexts to which they belong.
