Abstract

This brief article arises from a hypothesis that raises the problem about the possibility or feasibility of a correlation or convergence between two pedagogical positions, which are constructivism and decolonial critical pedagogy; These are thought and applied in the teaching of Universal History. Therefore, it is intended to carry out a systematic-analysis regarding the transversality of constructivism with respect to the pedagogical-decolonial theory, which will have as a synthesis an approach that was called constructivist-decolonial methodology. That is, the two currents will be thought in terms of making a methodical articulation. However, this will focus mainly on history and its proper teaching. This research work was carried out through a critical reading of intellectuals assumed within the decolonization turn such as Enrique Dussel, Juan Bautista and Christian James. On the other hand, Ricardo Rosas, Christian Sebastián and Luz Rodríguez Palmero were consulted, who performs an interpretation on Ausubel's theory of significant learning.
