Ethical thought of great visionaries: Bolívar and Martí
Abstract
Latin American ethical thought has a universal scope and a great ideological richness that materializes in important thinkers, as history has shown. Simón Bolívar and José Martí, according to Andrade (1981), legitimize the highest expression of Latin Americanism, social dignity, patriotism and national independence, values that are in the very essence of the liberation projects of both thinkers and that Apparently, they make up the ethical corpus that base civic education in each of the countries of origin of these illustrious representatives: Venezuela and Cuba.
