Liberating ethics for a united Latin America

Abstract

I introduce the writing on the subject of a book that falls into my hands being unusual in my daily readings, however, the subject about love between couples caught me, even more so when seen from the acute angle of the accredited Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman (2005) , I am referring to his work: Liquid Love, where he reviews that currently love between two is poor in its texture and consistency, that there is no longer solidity, firmness or stability in those relationships, which leads me to reflect and compare it with fragility that I observe in the bonds that we establish with our fellow men, which are totally inconsistent, bordering on practically falsehood, specifically astonishing the heartless humanitarian weakness. There are many cruel, ruthless and criminal events that we are living in recent times in our beloved Latin America, facts and events that only history can record so that at some point in the not too distant future it is studied and rationalized both in their origin and in its outcome. And this is not to indicate that we are not doing it in the present, of course we are studying the development of this reality, but I believe that we lack forcefulness to locate the beginning with the clear objective of stopping the disastrous result.
