The Coloniality of Belief. The structures of colonial power supported by the Judeo-Christian worldview
Abstract
Coloniality as the most perverse face of modernity has been widely defined, described and analyzed by the authors of the decolonial inflection in the group of modernity / coloniality, from the first works of the precursor Aníbal Quijano to the consolidation of a Latin American movement that it has a vast intellectual production. The evolution of the critical analysis of this category has so far made it possible to identify three forms or manifestations of Coloniality, namely, the Coloniality of power, of being and of knowledge, all of which have been widely worked on and generally accepted by the entire community of authors and followers of the decolonial option.
