Abstract

Castro-Gómez's objective is to locate the specificity of decolonial knowledge gestated by the modernity / coloniality group: culture is always intertwined and not derived from the processes of capitalist political economy, racial discourses organize the world's population in the order biopolitical (or even necropolitical), they update it in the coloniality of power and allow a reevaluation of the spatial and temporal categories of modernity and its heterarchical mechanisms (state apparatus, political regime, productive system, family and collective structure, relationship with nature, technology and technique).
